Groton-New London Cricket Club

The Groton/New London Cricket club (GNCC) was founded in March 2003.

Objectives of the club are to:
• Play and promote the game of cricket in the Groton/New London, Connecticut area.
• Promote a multicultural club with an emphasis on the enjoyment and full participation of all members.

The GNCC is a multicultural club with members from India, Pakistan, England, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago. The club was admitted to the Connecticut Cricket League in the Spring of 2003 and played its first competitive league match against West Indian Social Club on May 4th, 2003. Through the generous support of the City of New London Parks and Recreation Department, the club enjoys use of Caulkins Field in New London, CT for its home games and practices.
